Kaila Charles will jon the New York Liberty on a hardship contract. Charles, a 6-1 guard/forward, spent the last two seasons WNBA seasons with the Connecticut Sun.
Charles was drafted 23rd overall by the Connecticut Sun in the 2020 WNBA Draft.
The University of Maryland alumna averaged 4.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 17 minutes in 51 total games for Curt Miller and the Sun.
Per the Liberty, she will be available for tomorrow’s season opener against the Connecticut Sun at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN.
